Reporting from Ubud, Bali — On a steamy, drizzly morning, my friend Alejandra Cisneros leads us on a narrow dirt path through the flooded rice fields. A few yards away, a dozen ducks march single file across a dirt berm, tails twitching, looking very businesslike. Local farmers hire the trained ducks to eat pests and clean the recently harvested fields, Cisneros explains, as we settle on the bamboo deck of Sari Organik, an organic restaurant. It has been a real pleasure working with Alejandra. She brought fresh ideas and creative alternatives to every aspect of the project: from design to budget. She has a sharp eye for detail and it was extremely helpful to draw on her experience in design, color and her knowledge of the Balinese culture. Her organizational skills, professionalism and her prompt communication made the whole experience a real joy! I highly recommend Alejandra Cisneros.

There's just one word to sum up working with Alejandra: phenomenal. I guess a project like ours could have been done from the States. It's possible. But I am now a true believer that it was so worthwhile to go to Bali and let Alejandra work her magic. I recommend her to everyone I know! She has a way of being able to get inside each person and see his or her vision and then make it tangible.
